Our History

The Valencia Academy of Performing Arts was established in 1985 by the visionary Valencian artist, Isabella Rossi. Inspired by her own experiences and a profound belief in the transformative power of the arts, Isabella sought to create a nurturing and rigorous environment where aspiring performers could cultivate their talents and pursue their artistic dreams. Her vision was to establish an academy rooted in the rich cultural heritage of Valencia, while embracing innovation and international perspectives.

From its humble beginnings in a small studio in the heart of Valencia, the Academy has grown into a renowned institution, attracting students from all corners of the globe. Over the years, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to providing a holistic education, nurturing not only technical proficiency but also creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. Our location near the iconic City of Arts and Sciences provides a constant source of inspiration for our students, immersing them in Valencia’s vibrant cultural landscape.

The legacy of Isabella Rossi continues to guide us, and we are proud to carry on her mission of fostering artistic excellence and empowering the next generation of performers. Our alumni have gone on to achieve remarkable success in a wide range of performing arts fields, from leading roles in international ballet companies to award-winning performances on the world’s most prestigious stages.
